A specialist PMS implementation team for high-value yacht assets.
NavioData is a specialist planned maintenance services company. We build vessel-specific PMS foundations through technical review, structured data build, QA, import support, and handover.
Dylan Wentink, MCA Y1 Chief Engineer, leads the technical review and build logic. Project support is added by scope for documentation control, data build, QA, import preparation, and handover.
Delivery model
Lead engineer
Scope, systems logic, and final QA guided by yacht engineering experience.
Data build support
Equipment records, tasks, spares, source links, and import workbooks.
QA and handover
Traceability checks, exception logs, crew notes, and PMS import support.
Dylan has inherited bad PMS systems.
Equipment missing. Intervals wrong. Spare parts that don't match what's actually onboard. Maintenance tasks mapped to systems instead of individual equipment. Tasks copied from a sister vessel with completely different machinery. Software installed, but no one able to trust what was inside it.
One real pain point behind NavioData was a 5-year shipyard period where every manual and every spares box had to be reviewed to work out what maintenance needed to be done, what spares were onboard, and what still needed to be ordered.
What should have been done properly from the start ended up taking hours and hours — on top of running the vessel operationally with guests onboard.
NavioData exists so owners and project teams do not receive a high-value yacht with a low-trust maintenance database.

This isn't outsourced data entry.
Every engagement is led by yacht engineering experience and delivered through a structured process: documentation review, systems mapping, data build, PMS configuration support, QA, and handover. Additional support is brought in for documentation control, survey evidence, data build, import, and review where the scope requires it.
We deliver a complete PMS foundation: systems and equipment records, manufacturer maintenance schedules, spare parts, service tools, consumables, source traceability, and a permanent master file the vessel owns.
Criticality ratings, minimum stock levels, task priorities — these depend on your vessel's cruising program, operational profile, and your own experience. A yacht running Mediterranean summers has different priorities than one cruising the Pacific.
If you want criticality classifications and stock recommendations included, we'll provide templates and work through them with the crew for confirmation — or send our recommendations for you to review and adjust.
Either way, the final decisions sit where they should — with the Chief Engineer and HODs who actually run the vessel.
Our job is to give you a PMS that reflects the vessel clearly enough for those decisions to be made with confidence, not guesswork.
